• Today’s Daily Devotion — “Rest for the Weary” (Matthew 11:28-30) — Uncle Ricky, Biscuit, and Olive share Jesus’ invitation to tired folks: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” It arrives on the website at 5:30 this morning, along with Through the Bible, Day 6: Genesis 6 — Noah finds grace, and Uncle Ricky reads the whole chapter.
• Brand new on the site: Sunday School — “David and Goliath.” The cast learns how God helped a young shepherd face a giant — live now for the kids.
• Coming Sunday: the sermon “The Shepherd Who Stays,” from Psalm 23 — watch for it this weekend.

Before we close today, a moment from Nebraska worth sharing. Yesterday in North Platte, Vice President JD Vance was speaking at a rally when a woman in the crowd right behind him had a medical emergency. The Vice President stopped his speech, called for a doctor, and while the first responders cared for her, he invited everyone who was willing to join him — and led that whole crowd in the Lord’s Prayer. Then he stepped down off the stage to check on her himself. She appeared to be recovering, and he shared later that she was doing fine — and that it was her very first rally. Let’s keep her in our prayers.
