The Levi and Lucy Show Cast

Adam Truett

Adam

Howdy — I’m Adam Truett, Levi and Lucy’s dad. I work with my hands, I fix what’s broken, and I try to keep this bunch pointed in the right direction. Our house can get loud, and supper can get interesting, but I wouldn’t trade this family for anything in the world.

Rachel Truett

Rachel

Hi there, I’m Rachel Truett — Mom at the Truett house. I keep the meals coming, the peace (mostly), and the door open to anybody who needs a place at the table. Family is God’s gift, and at our house there’s always room for one more.

Ruth Callaway (Grandma)

Well, hello! I’m Ruth Callaway — Rachel’s mother, and grandmother to Levi and Lucy. Until just lately I lived two hundred miles away; now I’ve moved right in with the family, into the room that used to be Adam’s home office, and I love it dearly. My Harold passed a few months back, and this house has been good medicine for a lonesome heart. I don’t miss much — ask the twins about the fingernail check, or the Ben-Gay they thought they’d hidden. And every evening this house keeps a candle lit for me, because a lit candle means somebody was expected. In this home, I always am.

Marcus Cole

Marcus Cole

Hey there, friends — I’m Marcus Cole. Adam Truett and I have been best friends since we were boys back in elementary school, and now our families live right next door to each other, which suits us both just fine. I’m married to Michelle, the best woman I know, and we’re raising Jalen, Kayla, and our little firecracker, Piper. If something on this street needs fixing, lifting, or just talking through, folks tend to wind up in my yard — and there’s always an extra chair and something cold to drink. Around here, that’s what neighbors are for.

Michelle Cole

Michelle Cole

Hi there — I’m Michelle Cole. I live next door to the Truetts with my husband, Marcus, and our three: Jalen, Kayla, and little Piper, who keeps life interesting all by herself. I keep the home fires burning on our side of the fence — meals on the table, an ear for anybody who needs one, and a porch that sees a lot of visiting. Marcus says folks end up in his yard; truth is, half of them end up at my table first. Raising good children and loving your neighbors — I can’t think of a better life than that.

Levi Truett

Levi

Hi! I’m Levi Truett — I’m the one in the red cap. I’m twelve, I’ve got a twin sister, and I’ve usually got a plan. Sometimes my plans work out great… and sometimes everybody ends up looking at me like, ‘Levi, what were you thinking?’ But life at our house is never boring, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lucy Truett

Lucy

Hello! I’m Lucy Truett, Levi’s twin sister — the one with the braid and the glasses. I ask a lot of questions, but that’s how you find things out, right? I love reading and figuring out how things work… and somebody at our house has to keep Levi’s plans from getting too wild. Might as well be me.

Jalen Cole

Jalen Cole

Hey! I’m Jalen Cole. I live next door to Levi and Lucy, and Levi’s my best friend — has been our whole lives, just like our dads. If there’s a game going on in either yard, I’m in it; if there’s a ball, I’m probably chasing it. Me and Levi are always fixing to build something — a ramp, a fort, whatever we can talk our dads into helping with. I go to church with my family, and yeah, Levi’s usually sitting right there with me. There’s always room for one more in the game, so come on.

Kayla Cole

Kayla Cole

Hi! I’m Kayla Cole. I’m eleven, and I live next door to Lucy — she’s my best friend, the way Jalen and Levi are, and our moms and dads too. I love to draw and read, and I ask a lot of questions, especially about the Bible stories — Uncle Ricky says that’s how you learn. Me and Lucy are always making something or planning something. My little sister Piper follows us everywhere, usually with a frog or something in her hands. If you come by, I’ll probably show you my newest drawing.

Piper Cole

Piper Cole

Hi! I’m Piper Cole! I’m seven, and I’m the littlest one in my family — but don’t let that fool you, I can keep up with ALL of them. I love bugs and frogs and snakes and every little critter that crawls or hops — I find them everywhere, and I always let them go when I’m done. My brother and sisters think my critters are gross, so naturally I have to show them every single one. If you see a toad in your shoe around here… that might have been me. Sorry! …Okay, not that sorry.

Tater

Tater

Levi: “Hi, everybody! This is my new puppy, Tater. Say hi, Tater!” (Tater barks.)
